I was recently asked to write an article about my most recent work on cloth, which I was pleased to see published by Stampington Publishers in the Spring 2025 issue of Art Quilting Studio Magazine. This magazine is widely available in craft stores and bookstores across the country, making it accessible to a broad audience. In my article, I discuss and illustrate how I favor combining seemingly opposite techniques, compositions, and structures to create a compelling sense of dynamic tension within my work. Alongside the text, three of my recent pieces are featured, accompanied by detailed close-up shots to highlight the intricate elements. This marks my third appearance in Art Quilting Studio, and I have found working with them to be a wonderful experience. The collaboration has been both meaningful to me personally and a great deal of fun throughout.
